Description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Asheville, NC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hours: 6:00 am- 4:30 PM
Pay: $20.00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and regulatory requirements related to inspections and part qualifications.
  • Serve as a GMP resource for Production and other internal teams, actively preventing regulatory liabilities and client dissatisfaction.
  • Perform First Article Inspections as directed, utilizing various methodologies and tools (e.g., calipers, CMM).
  • Conduct data entry for Non-Conformance Material (NCM) and Material Review Board (MRB) items as needed.
  • Track and analyze NCM data and provide insights to site leaders.
  • Perform incoming inspections promptly to support production needs.
  • Adhere to all job-related safety protocols and training requirements.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the continuous improvement of operations.

How Will You Get There?

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification is preferred.
  • IPC 610 and/or 620 certification is preferred.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP environment is required.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints is required.
  • Proficiency with metrology equipment is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of safety and compliance.
