Senior Accounts Receivable – Join a Growing Manufacturer!
Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Pay Rate: $28–$30/hr (higher possible for the perfect fit)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Fast-growing leader in the packaging industry, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Receivable to join our collaborative team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy taking ownership of A/R while contributing across accounting functions, this role is for you!
What You'll Do:
- Own the Accounts Receivable process: invoicing, billing inquiries, rebilling, and collections.
- Post journal entries, complete reconciliations, and support Accounts Payable as needed.
- Track and report sales tax and prepare annual 1099 forms.
- Create purchase orders, manage vendor relationships, and keep production supplies flowing.
- Research and resolve discrepancies, keeping our books accurate and compliant.
- Provide reporting to external partners (CPAs, banks) and collaborate directly with leadership.
- Jump in where needed — from special projects to occasional front-desk support.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred).
- 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in A/R-heavy processing roles.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Problem-solver with a knack for spotting and fixing discrepancies.
- Knowledge of GAAP and experience with audits a plus!
- Competitive hourly pay ($28–$30/hr, higher for the right candidate).
