Job Title: Senior Accountant Analyst
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in office per week)
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Job Summary Join our growing accounting team as a Senior Accountant! We are seeking an experienced professional who will take ownership of both General Ledger and Cash Accounting functions. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates expert attention to detail, and efficiently manages diverse accounting processes. Key Responsibilities General Ledger Accounting (50%):

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Analyze account variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Support preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.

Cash Accounting (50%):

• Monitor and record daily cash transactions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, international funds transfers).
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Collaborate with AP/AR teams for accurate cash accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1- 3 years previous experience as Accounting Analyst or similar position 
• Proficiency with MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CMA certification.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and automation tools.
