What's a typical day as Part-Time Shipping Clerk? You'll be:
• Creating Serial Tags to support assembly operations and ensuring smooth workflow, reporting to the Shipping Supervisor.
• Programming TCU's for OEM transmission shipments to meet production needs.
• Preparing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and export paperwork.
• Setting up and managing outbound shipments from JDCW to ensure timely delivery.
• Creating assembly packets and overseeing outside production units at the painter.
• Coordinating with logistics providers to ensure timely shipments and maintaining shipment files.
• Addressing customer inquiries and issuing reports to maintain high service standards.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have experience in warehousing or shipping, which is highly beneficial.
• Are proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel; SAP knowledge is preferred.
• Possess a strong team-player attitude with a self-motivated and outgoing personality.
• Can spend up to 50% of your work time on your feet on the factory floor.
