Job Summary
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for picking, preparing, and shipping orders while following all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. This role supports inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and on-time shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pick orders for shipment using handheld scan guns

Identify and pull parts from inventory, including consignment locations

Prepare items for shipment and complete error-free system transactions

Follow all standard operating procedures and data processing requirements

Operate in a safe manner and adhere to all safety programs, including PPE use

Inspect equipment per policy and escalate safety issues to supervisors or EHS

Assist with cycle counts, transfers, and restocking

Participate in continuous improvement activities and identify process improvements

Complete training for loading trucks

Perform other duties as assigned

Some experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment preferred

Forklift experience required; stand-up Raymond truck experience strongly preferred

Experience with WMS systems preferred

Basic math and computer skills required

Knowledge of HazMat labeling preferred

Knowledge of export orders preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and take responsibility

Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization

Ability to lift and move materials; assistance required for items over 40 lbs
