Solder Operator
Location: Attleboro, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Utility 1 Operator to join our Solder Department. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with strong hand-eye coordination, an eye for quality, and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Utility 1 Operator, you will perform various soldering operations under the guidance of the department supervisor. Core duties include:

Performing solder operations as assigned

Completing the following tasks efficiently:
-
Set-up and charge
-
Pin-stem operation
-
Fusion operation
-
Dapping operation
Operating as a Furnace Tender, including:
Picking up racks from the set-up bench
Loading/unloading the furnace while keeping work orders separate
Moving completed work to the next station
Performing furnace housekeeping and upkeep
Qualifications-
High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience with soldering or related manufacturing techniques preferred

Strong hand-eye coordination

Attention to detail and organizational skills
-
Ability to read work tickets and follow written/verbal instructions

Capable of sitting or standing for extended periods
-
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

Regular use of hands and arms; occasional kneeling, crouching, or reaching

Continuous visual focus during tasks

Exposure to minor hazards such as heat and dust; PPE provided
-
Work is routine but requires consistent focus and precision
