Kelly Engineering Services is actively interviewing and immediately hiring qualified Soldering Specialists to facilitate with production demand and new product development.
This is a full-time opportunity within the Medical Device Industry offering job stability, advancement potential, and a comprehensive benefit package.
Soldering Specialists are an integral part of the Research and Development team, responsible for performing Medical Device and Catheter assembly, as well as assisting with process implementation and process improvement.
Position Title: Soldering Specialist
Two Shift Options Available:
5AM-1:30PM
6AM-2:30PM
Compensation: $33-$35 Hourly (dependent upon skills assessment test)

Location: Irvine, CA
Responsibilities:
- *Applicants must possess previous experience soldering under microscope. Please do not apply if you have never soldered under microscope before.
- Soldering responsibilities will include wire connections, point-to-point soldering, harness assembly, PCB soldering, and rework. Wire gauges will range from 28 to 42.
- Perform assembly and soldering responsibilities under a microscope for extended periods of time. Various microscopes will be used, including binocular and digital models. Magnifications typically range from 4X to 50X.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Regularly communicate with Engineering and team members, providing feedback and suggesting process improvements as needed. Must possess excellent communication and comprehension skills.
- Maintain accurate notes, document findings, and organize data for future reference by Engineering and team members.
- Read and interpret work order instructions, SOP's, visual aids, and engineer drawings in English.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
