Job Title: Surface Grinder Operator

Pay Rate: $23 - 28/HR

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Essential Responsibilities:

• Plans and performs a variety of machine operations utilizing numerical controlled machines, i.e. Surface Grinder and saws to machine plastic or metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties
• Interprets complicated drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets to determine work to be done
• Performs diversified operations on numerical controlled machines
• Performs a variety of related operations to close and interrelated tolerances

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other specifications
• Using measuring tools, grinding wheels and applications

Education and Experience: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience of surface grinding
