Technical Service Specialist / Administrative Assistant
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Salary/Pay Rate: $22-25/hour (depending on experience)

- Administrative Duties: Submit expense reports, create purchase orders, process invoices, and manage data entry and document uploads into internal systems.
- Technical Waste Disposal Support: Assist in providing technical waste disposal support, including collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and develop customized solutions for clients.

Customer Support: Build a regular and direct rapport with customers, ensuring their technical requirements are met and satisfaction is maintained through ongoing communication.

Waste Treatment and Disposal: Work closely with internal teams to determine the proper, safe, and legal treatment of hazardous waste. This includes assisting with waste classification, analyzing lab results and safety data sheets, and compiling technical data into comprehensive reports.

Bid Materials Development: Support sales managers in developing bid materials for waste management services.

Customer Inquiries and Communication: Respond to customer inquiries, assist with project coordination, and ensure smooth communication between departments to support overall business operations.

Compliance: Ensure waste management solutions meet regulatory standards, including transportation guidelines, and assist with performing technical evaluations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have experience:
- Submitting Expense Reports
- Creating PO entries for the office as needed
- Processing invoices against the POs created for the office
- Data Entry and Document upload into our system

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to detect inconsistencies in data.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Proficient in reading and interpreting complex documentation and governmental regulations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings concisely.

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, DocuSign, and PDF writer.

Experience in waste management or environmental services is a plus.
