Job Title: Fabricator/Welder
Location: Fort Worth, TX (Near Alliance Airport)
Pay: $28 – $30/hour (Based on experience and interview)
Job Type: Full-Time | Regular | Non-Exempt

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join our growing team in Fort Worth. In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and installing high-quality structural fabrications, process piping, machine frames, and platforms that support advanced manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate structural components: skids, platforms, mezzanines, guards, frames

  • Perform pipefitting and welding on stainless and carbon steel systems (butt weld, socket weld, threaded)

  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, P&IDs, and isometric drawings

  • Execute welding using GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, and SMAW; FCAW a plus

  • Conduct precise layout and fit-up using fabrication tools and measuring equipment

  • Operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutter, oxy-fuel torch, press brake, ironworker, and saws

  • Perform visual inspections and dimensional verification to ensure quality standards

  • Collaborate with engineering on prototypes and design improvements

  • Rig, move, and install fabrications safely using cranes and forklifts

  • Maintain shop equipment and participate in preventative maintenance

  • Document work in SAP CMMS including redlines, time tracking, and material usage

  • Follow all safety protocols including hot work permits, PPE use, LOTO, and confined space procedures

What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of industrial welding/fabrication experience in a shop or manufacturing setting

  • Strong pipefitting skills and experience working with stainless and carbon steel

  • Proficiency in GTAW/TIG, GMAW/MIG, and SMAW welding processes

  • Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and P&IDs

  • Skilled with layout, measurement tools, and fabrication math

  • AWS D1.1 and/or D1.6 certification preferred; ASME Section IX a plus

  • Comfortable collaborating with engineering and providing feedback on designs

  • Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP preferred) and BOMs

  • Experience with orbital TIG, sanitary tubing, or cryogenic/vacuum piping a plus

  • Able to work safely around heavy equipment and fabrication tools

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
