Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler
General Summary:
The Warehouse Material Handler performs a variety of tasks related to the receipt, distribution, assembly, and storage of finished goods within a sales warehouse or directly to customer locations. This role also supports materials handling functions, including receipt, disbursement, and related inventory activities, to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Pick finished goods throughout the warehouse as required by sales order ship lists.

Process incoming goods and supplies, including unpacking, verifying, labeling, and distributing to designated locations.

Fulfill requisitions for goods and materials in a timely and accurate manner.

Coordinate with shipping companies and internal departments for timely dispatch of shipments.

Assist in preparing items and relevant equipment for shipment.

Operate various types of material handling equipment (e.g., dollies, pallet jacks, forklifts) to move goods and materials safely.

Perform regular physical inventories and cycle counts.

Maintain delivery request records and notify appropriate supervisors of any delays or material shortages.

Keep accurate and up-to-date logbooks to ensure optimal material flow.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate inquiries to ensure adequate stock is maintained.

Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials are documented properly and physical inventories are well-maintained.

Handle all materials with care, following safety and operational protocols.
Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

0–2 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or materials handling role.

Ability to operate material handling equipment (certification preferred but not required).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic computer/data entry skills for logging inventory and tracking materials.

Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Environment: Warehouse setting; may require standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods.
