Job Title: Data Center Associate
Location: Sterling, VA 20166

Shift: D Shift (Thursday - Sunday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour with a $2.00 weekend differential, totaling $24.50 per hour.

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Data Center Associates to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will move materials, assemble components, and support warehouse operations. Responsibilities include loading and unloading freight, performing quality checks, and installing hardware into server racks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Move materials using hand or electric pallet jacks.
  • Assemble and install electrical components into server racks.
  • Conduct quality checks on inbound and outbound freight.
  • Execute inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders.
  • Follow safety protocols for handling live electrical equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in warehousing, customer service, or mechanical/assembly preferred.
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Must have ankle-high steel-toed or composite-toe boots with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) material.
  • Reliable transportation is required, as the site is 20 miles outside of Reno.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per customer requirements (boosters not required).
  • Basic computer skills required; training on specific systems will be provided.

Additional Information:

  • The work environment may fluctuate between fast-paced and slower periods, with opportunities for cross-training.
  • Our temperature-controlled facility offers a buffet-style breakfast and lunch daily, along with a fully stocked mini-kitchen of snacks and drinks, free of charge.
  • This position is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
