Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Welder for a manufacturer located in Lake Mary, FL 32746 Salary Range:
$15.00-$25.00 ( based on experience)
Schedule- Mon-Friday 1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. 

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail, with competence in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions. Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints and drawings to take or read measurements for layout and procedures.
  • Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications.
  • Operate angle grinders to prepare components for welding.
  • Align components using calipers, rulers, and clamp pieces.
  • Weld components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead) using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
  • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that ensures safety.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a welder.
  • Experience using various welding equipment and procedures (e.g., TIG, MMA).
  • Experience with electrical or manual tools (e.g., squares, calipers).
  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (e.g., face-shield, gloves).
  • Deftness and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required.
  • Professional certification, such as an AWS welding certificate, will be a plus.
  • CWI or CRAWL certification is a major plus.
  • Strong fabrication skills.
