Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $36-40 per hour (DOE)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm
Location: Schenectady, NY

What's a typical day as a Wind Operations Specialist? You'll be:
• Monitoring and managing daily operational KPIs across active wind projects to ensure alignment with performance targets and contractual obligations. You'll start by reviewing dashboards and alerts to prioritize areas needing immediate attention.
• Coordinating daily workflows and tasks across the Projects organization. This includes communicating with project teams to assign tasks, setting timelines, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. You'll conduct daily stand-up meetings to address any issues and update progress.
• Ensuring timely issue resolution and adherence to safety and compliance standards. You'll perform site visits to verify compliance and utilize checklists to ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Engaging in continuous communication with cross-functional teams such as leadership, sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, and digital partners to resolve real-time operational issues, drive improvements, and ensure all teams are aligned with the strategic goals.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• High School Diploma and have 4+ years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Project Management or a related field.
• Possess advanced proficiency in all MS Office programs—Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Have 2+ years of experience in Renewable Energy Projects/Operations/Support.
• Demonstrate customer service skills, with the ability to handle high-pressure, time-sensitive issues.
• Have exceptional planning, organizing, and follow-up skills.
• Are adept at managing multiple deadlines and daily tasks effectively to meet deliverables.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Showcase strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, both proactive and reactive.
• Are a self-starter with a passion for improvement and a desire to learn.
