Pay Range for this position is: $115,000-$170,000 plus annual bonus, depending on experience and geographical location.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Demand Planning plays a key role in driving accurate and effective demand forecasts for US private label and branded beverage product portfolio. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Internal Planning, this position is accountable for ensuring analysis of historical demand, trends and promotions to generate actionable forecasts. Applicant will spearhead demand planning processes that support financial, production, and inventory objectives. The manager will be instrumental in driving forecast improvements through cross-functional interaction, while mentoring a high-performing team of demand planners..
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the job)

Responsibilities include:
- Oversee demand planning and management processes for private label and branded business
- Drive forecast improvements to impact Supply Chain and Manufacturing performance
- Lead, coach and develop 2 direct reports to ensure individual and team growth
- Measure forecast accuracy using analytics, KPIs and statistical modeling
- Lead root cause analysis of major variances and drive corrective actions
- Maintain and enhance demand planning systems and tools to improve reliability and efficiency
- Lead technology support, platform training and vendor coordination for planning tool
- Provide support on developing seasonal demand forecasts and anticipate customer reaction to promotions, events, or lifts
- Lead monthly customer insights meeting with commercial team to reduce error of major outliers
- Engage cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Commercialization and Supply Chain to align on consensus forecastsEstablish and maintain 24-month rolling forecast to support branded and private label products
- Provide weekly shipment pacing and order attainment reports to leadership on performance
- Lead monthly private label and branded demand review meeting in support of S&OP initiatives
- Gather and analyze future market trends in conjunction with sales and marketing

- Manage staff of 2 employees
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Communicates job expectations; planning, monitoring, and assessing job results; coaching, and counseling employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, procedures, and productivity standards.
Establishes goals to support strategic initiatives;EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Business or related field;
- 5 years minimum with direct experience in demand planning
- Strong S&OP knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP functionality, QAD experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing demands and priorities
- Experience using statistical models and calculations
- Ability to work effectively across diverse departments.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented and can multi-task
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- CPG Demand Planning experience
- Experience in the food/beverage industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.
FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.
OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 20 - 35 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.
VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.
HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction
