Position Summary: This position will receive measure and inventory all labels and ingredients (except raw fruit and juice concentrates) that are used in the production of products at the Sun Rype USA Selah facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete all receiving documentation for incoming labels and ingredients, except for raw fruit and juice concentrates.
2. Verify quantities of incoming ingredients against the Pack List and notify supervisor of discrepancies.
3. Properly store all ingredients received.
4. Accurately pre-measure ingredients as per formula/batch sheet requirements.  
5. Properly label and record ingredients used.
6. Properly store pre-measured ingredients.
7. Ensure that the correct labels, in the correct quantity, are available on the bottling lines prior to start of production.
8. Maintain accurate weekly and monthly inventories of all labels and ingredients (except raw fruit and juice concentrates).
9. Keep work area clean and organized.
10. Assist with Shipping/Receiving activities as time permits.
11. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position that backs up this role during absence:

Quality Assurance Lead, Quality Assurance Manager or designate.

Job Requirements:

A.  Physical Requirements:

This position requires the following physical demands up to 90% of the time:

• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift minus breaks and lunch,
• Must be able to work in hot, humid and/or cold areas,
• Must have good hand-eye coordination.

B.  Non-Physical Requirements:

1. Education:  High school diploma required.

1. Experience:  Minimum two years' experience in a juice processing and/or bottling environment preferred.

1. Special Skills:

• Able to work any shift, overtime and any or all days of the week in accordance with plant needs.
• Ability to work independently on a daily basis.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Strong math skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
• Personally invested in the success of the business.
• Motivated, focused and accountable for results.

• Will work with a large cross section of the business, including, but not limited to Shipping/Receiving personnel, Manufacturing Manager, Bottling Line Supervisors, Bottling Line Operators, Processing/Batching Supervisor and/or Manager, Batching Operators, QA Supervisor/Lead, QA Technicians, Production Planner, Finance personnel.
