Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with quality improvement initiatives and processes within the Electro-Optic Infrared Sensors business areas. Responsible for supporting program or project quality system processes and supporting product quality improvements. Will assist in the analysis, design, development, documentation, and support of quality activities that drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tool suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well both as part of a team or as an individual
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products such as Work, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Previous internship or co-op experience and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
Job Responsibilities Part II
  • Collect data and reviews documentation for conformance, accuracy, and completeness. Coordinate and
  • Support quality engineering activities for multiple programs under the supervision of engineers
  • Support incoming inspection of purchased materials
  • Gather and assemble data for engineers. Conduct data analysis to assist the Quality Engineering team
  • Perform and complete technical projects
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Normal for an office environment
  • May perform work in various supplier facilities, including machine and plating shops
Qualifications
  • Must be actively enrolled in a 4 year undergraduate degree in engineering or a technical discipline (STEM)
  • Have completed at least 2 years of college with a 3.0 GPA or better.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using your natural curiosity.
  • Work effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks.
