Job Summary

We are seeking a high-energy recruiter with a passion for sourcing, engaging passive talent, and building pipelines that support our future workforce needs.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives on finding exceptional candidates before they apply, starting meaningful career conversations, and developing relationships that lead to successful hires over time. You will be a visible partner to hiring managers, HR partners, and business leaders, helping RADA attract the specialized talent needed to support continued growth.

What you'll do:
  • Lead proactive sourcing initiatives to identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.
  • Build and nurture pipelines of passive candidates, maintaining regular contact with high-potential talent and converting relationships into future hiring opportunities.
  • Use a broad range of sourcing channels—including LinkedIn Recruiter, resume databases, professional associations, industry networks, referrals, social media, and targeted outreach—to reach specialized and hard-to-find talent.
  • Develop customized sourcing strategies for business-critical, high-volume, and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs, refine candidate profiles, and translate business requirements into effective talent-acquisition plans.
  • Represent RADA at career fairs, university and technical-school recruiting events, military and veteran outreach events, industry conferences, and community networking opportunities to strengthen our employment brand and build early-career and experienced-talent pipelines.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, technical schools, workforce-development organizations, professional groups, and community partners.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting activities, including intake discussions, job posting support, candidate screening, interview coordination, selection support, offer management, etc.
  • Deliver a responsive, professional, and engaging candidate experience from first outreach through hire.
  • Create and maintain talent communities for priority skill areas, ensuring candidates remain engaged even when there is not an immediate opening.
  • Track sourcing activity, candidate pipeline health, event results, and recruiting metrics through the applicant tracking system and other recruiting tools.
  • Partner with HR generalists and communication department leaders on employer-branding initiatives, recruiting events, and continuous-improvement projects.
What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Two or more years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or talent-sourcing experience.
  • Demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive candidates through direct outreach, networking, talent communities, and creative sourcing methods.
  • Experience supporting career fairs, recruiting events, campus recruiting, or community outreach initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to connect credibly with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
  • A consultative mindset, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting analytics to manage pipelines and measure results.
  • Knowledge of behavioral interviewing practices and applicable employment, EEO, and other legal requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and follow-through skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Staffing agency, search-firm, or contract-recruiting experience is highly desired.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, defense, government-contracting, or other specialized skill sets.
  • Experience developing talent pipelines for high-growth organizations or for roles with limited candidate availability.
  • Familiarity with military, veteran, clearance-eligible, or technical-school talent populations.
