The Opportunity
Join a collaborative team of neurologists, neuro-critical care providers, vascular neurologists, and neurosurgeons at Temple University Hospital – Jeanes Campus. This position offers the unique combination of resources from a major academic medical center within a supportive, community-focused suburban setting.
Temple's Jeanes Campus, nestled in Northeast Philadelphia, boasts a rich history of compassionate care spanning over 90 years as the nation's only Quaker-founded hospital. It integrates cutting-edge medical and surgical services typical of large academic centers, including cardiac catheterization, neurology/neurosurgery, vascular and bariatric surgery, orthopedics, and ENT services.
The hospital serves as a vital clinical training site for students from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, and maintains strong community ties through health screenings, educational programs, and support services.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while closely supervising and educating medical students and neurology residents. There are opportunities for general neurology as well as sub-specialty practice, for those with fellowship training. Candidate Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Successful completion of residency in Neurology from an ACGME-accredited program prior to the start date
- Board eligibility or certification in Neurology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license & DEA from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to employment
