Title and Summary
Card Product Analyst Overview• Become an expert in MasterCard's digitization and tokenization solution to drive adoption and enable MasterCard's emerging payment strategy in our market
Role
CORE AREAS
• Helps develop strategic business plans for Product, including rigorous analysis of revenue opportunities and related costs
• Works closely with global teams, regional leadership and sales colleagues to understand MasterCard, issuer, acquirer, merchant, and consumer needs and issues
• Monitors product performance metrics at all stages of the product life cycle, and makes recommendations regarding solutions to challenges in the portfolio or product strategy
• Analyzes market trends, dynamics, and competition in order to inform product and go-to-market strategies
• Provides support to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on product functionality and enhancements Other Areas
• Engages in idea generation for enhancements to existing products, concept validation, business case development
• Assess viability, and when applicable, help develop implementation strategy for digital security standards including controls and alerts, cryptology standards, tokenization and digitization leveraging solutions such as MasterCard Digital Enablement Services, In Control and others
• Provide high level design specifications, including business and technical requirements, for product enhancements to Emerging Payment Product and Solution development
• Gathers competitive market information by maintaining regular contacts with vendors, customers and consultants and incorporates it as part of market intelligence reports
• Identifies where value is created in the business chain for emerging payment solutions and services, as a basis for defining new stakeholder value propositions
• Leverages reports from quality and performance testing to adapt product functionality and enhance product delivery/maintenance to meet internal standards and stakeholders' expectations
• Applies understanding of product strategy, tactical plans, and the organization's goals n to facilitate a product's success in the market
• Applies deeper knowledge of local/regional markets and industry trends linking to own technical expertise to provide relevant and up-to-date work deliverables
• Reviews information on competitors' product offerings, business models and technology innovations on a regular basis and shares findings
• Drives the achievement of objectives by setting ‘stretch' goals for others and continually seeks opportunities to exceed results by leveraging internal relationships
• Anticipates the future needs and requirements of internal or external customers to proactively provide exceptional delivery of services
• Takes initiative to seek new /different approaches to existing problems and carefully applies them to build out solutions
• Spots breakthrough ideas/ opportunities in the market; leads direct development of new approaches to utilize these ideas/opportunities at MasterCard

• Experience contributing data-driven product adjustment recommendations that were accepted for implementation by senior leaders
• Extensive experience working on product launches in markets
• Experience independently developing and managing budgets for multiple projects and products

• Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results with global, multi-cultural and remote project teams

All About You
o Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Science, Engineering or related major
o Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as Business Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Product Manager, Engagement Manager, or related
o Qualifying experience must include: payment platforms and technologies (processing and payment clearing networks, near field communication (NFC), personal payments, and API); payment standards and regulatory framework (EMV, Chip, cryptology standards, tokenization); developing payment strategies and understanding payment industry trends and market behavior; working with LAC Geo Central financial institutions on payment related topics base; Product management, including product development lifecycle, product marketing and product delivery; managing multiple functions and coordinating effectively with internal and external business partners; managing budgets or financial results relating to financial service and payment industries.
