Title and Summary
Director, Account Management Mastercard Americas Fintech and Digital Partners TeamThe US Fintech & Digital Merchants team is responsible for developing and growing partnerships with partners across the fintech & digital merchant ecosystems. We work with the biggest names in tech, ecommerce and financial services to leverage Mastercard's technological capabilities to solve real world problems for our partners and their customers, create new product propositions, and ensure seamless, secure and inclusive payments. We execute partnerships and minority investments that advance commercial or strategic objectives, identify product development opportunities, and distribute our services.
Role: Director, Americas Fintech and Digital Partners Team
In this high-profile, customer facing position, you will:
Own relationships with Mastercard's most strategic end-user fintech partnerships that serve consumers and small businesses.
Help execute Mastercard's go-to-market strategy across a holistic suite of products and services (Digital, Data and Services, Loyalty, Fraud, and Open Banking).
Co-innovate with partners to build new product propositions through close collaboration with Mastercard product development and innovation teams.
Drive Mastercard revenue growth and be comfortable developing business cases including ROI analyses as well as supporting responses to RFPs.
Lead negotiations with partners and with internal stakeholders and develop terms sheets and contracts.
Build and cultivate partnerships that advance Mastercard's Environmental, Sustainability, and Inclusive Growth agenda.
Responsibilities
Use analytical problem solving and data tools to advise customers regarding program development, optimization & growth, as well as market strategies.
Lead project execution across multiple business functions including account management, and business development, marketing/communications and product management.
Lead business conversations with key decision makers internally and externally.
Contribute to the delivery of integrated solutions that address customer needs.
Drive and support both account management and business development efforts, internal partners and key stakeholders.
Create and review sales presentations, proposals and internal business case development.
Work closely and develop relationships with internal stakeholders across the business unit.
All About You / Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to balance command of the details with ability to deliver clear, concise summary
A passion and comfort in meeting new people and building meaningful relationships with senior-level and C-suite executives.
Passion for B2B sales and working in a sales environment to drive results.
Possess a blend of analytical capability, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence and able to dive deep on all areas of the business to deliver creative solutions to unstructured problems.
Comfortable aptitude for onboarding complex business and technical knowledge to a level sufficient to engage in meaningful partner discussions and identify and drive solutions.
Enjoy collaborating within a team while working independently towards a goal.
Strong analytical skills: aptitude for working with financial information and operational data; experience with developing business cases & strategic analysis
Self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering multiple projects within a team environment. Ability to collaborate and build relationships with account team and across multiples functions; role has high exposure to a wide range of senior partners.
Some professional experience in financial services, cards, payments or another related field preferred.
