Role:
The Director – Acquiring Account Management is new role on the expanding Acquiring Management Team that will manage a segment of integrated commerce platforms, processors and payment acceptors. This role will be a combination of account management and business development - with an objective to drive revenue by ensuring the full utilization of Mastercard products and services within the assigned accounts.



Key Responsibilities

Manage the relationship with assigned accounts including communicating with senior client representatives, resolving client issues, and addressing operational challenges.
Be the voice of Mastercard to the client – and the voice of the client to Mastercard
Sell and optimize the use of Mastercard products and services
Work with the Mastercard cross functional teams to create compelling product and service bundles that meet the needs of the assigned accounts.
Develop strong relationships with client executives to deepen the client/Mastercard partnership
Coordinate business/partnership development efforts with appropriate Mastercard business partners in Global Products & Solutions, Mastercard Technologies, Law & Franchise Integrity, Risk Management, etc., to ensure cross-functional alignment and maximum support for managed customers.




About You

Experience working at a leading fintech, technology or payments company
Great commercial acumen and business analytical skills with a demonstrated track record of selling enterprise or platform solutions
Experience in managing complex partnerships in a fast-moving technology environment
Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and familiarity with both the incumbents and new entrants in the space
True team player who is ready to role up their sleeves in a player/coach position
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.

Atlanta, Georgia: $143,000 - $229,000 USD New York City, New York: $172,000 - $275,000 USD Purchase, New York: $164,000 - $263,000 USD
