Overview
Mastercard Direct Services “MCDS” is a dynamic B2B sales unit covering small to medium sized customers across the Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa region. This role specifically focused on our customers in Africa -- a mix of financial institutions, payment service providers and fintechs. The MCDS model is fast growth, delivered through efficient and effective remote account development and management.

We are looking for high achievers who embody excellent business judgment, leadership, and financial savviness to join our team. As an MCDS sales lead for the Africa Division, you will manage a broad set of customers, generate and close sales leads, and solve customer challenges. This role requires a self-motivated and efficient individual with strong organizational and detail orientation skills.
Monthly travel is anticipated.
Location: Casablanca, Morocco.
Responsibilities
• Operates as primary relationship lead for customers from multiple segments, including banks, processors, payment service providers & fintechs
• Sets sales strategies as it relates to customer accounts that are aligned with geography strategy and achieving sales goals including market share, volume and revenue
• Responsible for driving revenue, product sales, market share and other strategic and operational KPIs
• Manages day-to-day work & establishes effective communication and relationships with senior decision makers within client
• Works to identify opportunities and customer needs, generates sales pipeline and drives closure of business opportunities
• Works cross functionally with product and business development, marketing, operations and delivery to identify opportunities, design and execute targeted customer focused proposals
• Develops financial modelling and business cases for identified opportunities
• Manages post-sales account management duties as the day-to-day contact person for the account
• Delivers customer quarterly business reviews

All About You
• Highly motivated individual, with the ability to seamlessly juggle multiple priorities
• Execution-oriented and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency
• Payments industry experience is a strong plus
• Strong excel (financial modeling) and powerpoint skills
• Proficient communicator: able to deliver great presentations, write crisp emails and has a great phone manner
• Demonstrates learning agility through quickly establishing credibility in a new subject matter or vertical
• Always acts with integrity
• Fluent knowledge (both written and spoken) of English, French is a plus
