Title and Summary

Director, Products Customer Solution Center is a new structure which enables Mastercard to develop better solutions & bundles for prioritized customer segments in markets. It is essentially the housing for all Mastercard capabilities, and it aims to drive Mastercard growth, influence, and revenue by creating and selling compelling data-driven, scalable needs-based solutions to new and existing customers by tapping Mastercard's extensive toolbox of product and service offerings.

Customer Solution Center director role is the main partner to Frontline (commercial teams) during solutioning to maximize the impact for clients. The role is similar to a curator of solutions and aggregator across products for target segments during solution bundling as to collaborate with AM as to ‘tell the story' to clients. He/she plays a critical role in ensuring relevancy and in driving differentiation across selected segments resulting in better relationships, market share gains, and revenue growth
Reports to Customer Solution Center Lead (CSCL)

Key Responsibilities
• Understands value chain of ecommerce and cards acceptance to identify trends, needs and opportunities, must bring a deep/ hands-on knowledge over the ecommerce value chain plus debit transactions and PIX in ecommerce
• Collaborates with commercial teams to identify needs and opportunities; recommends needs-based solutions in coordination with core products, services, and marketing
• Main partner to commercial teams in developing value propositions for integrated, customized solutions across products/services, especially in ecommerce transactions and payment authentication solutions such as 3DS, CD-CVM, passkey and wallets, as well as tokenization flows
• Iterates with commercial teams at different stages (e.g., opportunity assessment/ sizing, tailoring value proposition, proposal development) to ensure solution meets client and/or segment-specific needs
• Engages relevant expertise (from sales specialist and solution specialist) within the CSC, and across other CSCs (engage other SA's assigned to other segments) as needed
• Creates bespoke solutions & proactively builds solutions for known market needs. Solutions across the Mastercard toolbox, knitting together assets that can be readily deployed to address key customer “pain points.”
• Identifies enabling partners i.e. external parties such as vendors, technology companies, for solutioning when capabilities are not present internally within MA, with a focus on ecommerce and related payment systems
• Develops business requirements document in collaboration with product specialists and technical architect
• Shares best practices with solution architect community
• Ensure to provide input to the product groups and segment leads to enhance their product and segment strategy to meet the needs of the segment.

All About You:
• Deep understanding and experience of product development, product management, consumer experience, and problem solving preferably focused on payments for the ecommerce value chain, including a good understanding of technical basics, APIs, process flows applied to ecommerce
• Strong ability to work with and analyze large amounts of data (both quantitative and qualitative), and derive meaningful conclusions, implications and recommendations from said data; strong analytical discipline.
• Good understanding of payments products and services, debit transactions and PIX in ecommerce, including their economics, industry fraud levels and key mitigators
• Prior experience as a consultant working for or procuring vendors to e-commerce operations; desirable previous experience managing relationships with one or some of the following: acquirers, token requestors, gateways, platforms, anti-fraud solutions
• Strong understanding of e-commerce evolving strategic needs, the current and potential future market environment, particularly in ecommerce and acceptance, previously worked in ecommerce or acquiring operations and/or their vendors.
• Able to architect integrated solutions by combining Mastercard's products and services in ways that meet customers' and their vendors' key strategic needs.
• Highly collaborative; strong communicator, natural integrator with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver products and solutions for customer needs, and demonstrated ability to rally and gain backing from internal stakeholders in order to build organizational support for the proposed solution
KPIs (AICP)
• Key drivers/improvement (transaction volume ($ and #), # of merchants transacting with MA's specific solutions, # of e-commerce vendors enabled with MA's specific solutions within specific segments
• Deal win ratio for supported opportunities
• Voice of customer survey results from the assigned segments
• # of projects supported @ other CSCs
• Market-specific objectives
• Fluency in Portuguese and English
• A bachelor's Degree is required.
