Title and Summary

Executive Assistant We're looking for a high performer to enable the Senior Vice President (SVP), Customer Solutions Centre, to deliver on Mastercard's business agenda across Australia and the wider region.

This role suits someone passionate about technology, innovation and design thinking, who thrives in a fast paced, high performing team and can confidently operate across senior stakeholders, customers, and global time zones.

You will be the SVP's strategic administrative partner: driving rhythm-of-business, orchestrating calendars and priorities, preparing content, coordinating key meetings and executive visits, and ensuring seamless travel, events, and team communications.

Core role & impact

• Enable focus: Protect time and priorities so the SVP can focus on the most important business outcomes.
• Run the engine: Drive the operating cadence—diaries, meetings, materials, follow-ups, and stakeholder coordination.
• Create clarity: Prepare concise briefs, presentations, and reports that help accelerate decisions and execution.
• Elevate experiences: Deliver exceptional logistics and event experiences for customers, partners, visitors, and internal teams.
• Model excellence: Be a trusted point of contact—proactive, discreet, organised, and relentlessly reliable.

Key responsibilities

Executive support & prioritisation
• Expert diary management for the SVP, including complex scheduling across time zones and dynamic prioritisation.
• Gatekeeping and triage of requests; anticipate needs and prepare the SVP for upcoming engagements.
• Maintain confidentiality with impeccable judgement and discretion.
Meetings & operating cadence
• Plan and coordinate meetings (internal/external), prepare agendas and briefing packs, capture actions, and drive follow ups.
• Coordinate executive visitors and leadership forums; manage logistics and materials end to end.
• Organise team communications and meetings, support team culture and ways of working.

Presentations, research & reporting
• Assist with the creation and collation of presentations (PowerPoint) and talking points for business updates, customer meetings, and internal forums.
• Research key information as required and compile materials for reports, manuals, and publications.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reports with accuracy and clarity.
Travel & expenses
• Arrange domestic and international travel, including visas and detailed itineraries in line with corporate travel policy.
• Reconcile and submit expenses in a timely and accurate manner (Oracle or similar systems).

Stakeholder, customer & event support
• Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders, customers, and cross functional teams.
• Coordinate customer visits and support internal and external events, including logistics and on the day execution.
• Collaborate with Business Assistants globally to deliver a seamless experience across regions.

Skills & experience

• Demonstrated success as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders (VP/SVP level) in a fast paced environment.
• Relationship management: able to influence, collaborate across functions, and interact confidently with senior stakeholders and customers.
• Planning & execution: exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
• Problem solving: creative, resourceful, and proactive—thinks ahead and removes obstacles.
• Communication: clear, concise written and verbal communication with strong business judgement.
• Tech proficiency: advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with Oracle (or similar expense/travel systems).
• Interest in technology, innovation, and design thinking is highly regarded.
