Title and Summary
Manager - APEMEA FP&A OverviewThe Mastercard Finance team is currently hiring a strong candidate to support the APEMEA (Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa) FP&A team at Mastercard. The Manager will play a key role in assessing the financial impact of strategic and market development activities across the regions, acts as an important financial advisor and business partner, supporting in the creation and automation of centralised management reporting. The role will report to the APEMEA Director, FP&A and will be responsibile for planning, reporting and other finance tasks. The Manager should have a Finance background, with experience from Planning and Accounting roles as well as strong analytics skills.
Role
•Manage delivery of a high quality and insightful end-to-end month end and financial planning and forecasting process for APEMEA Markets. Focused across revenue and contra, including communications, timetables, data requirements & modelling
•Support in the Creation of a clear and coherent story of performance and actions for use within the business unit and at a group level
•Track risks & opportunities, identifying what options are available to deliver the plan each month
•Works cross-functionally with business partners to ensure alignment with targets; performs variance analysis to deliver and articulate arguments in an effective manner
•Support in preparation of senior management presentations such as Quarterly Operating Reviews (QOR), Monthly, Performance & Forecast Reviews and other ad-hoc presentations
•Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and expenses
•Build strong and positive relationships within Regional APEMEA, Corporate Finance, Vertical Finance teams and the BFC, ensuring alignment of APEMEA objectives and translating business assumptions into financial data
•Develop and build management reporting and insight for the Senior Management Team for presentation by Finance leaders.
•Drive business process improvement initiatives by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modelling; review and create suggestions to Region plans
All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
•Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience in financial analysis
•Demonstrate the ability to build internal and external business partnerships; begin to develop key relationships to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholders
•Have experience in reviewing and analyzing financial reporting and analysis of results (e.g.. monthly financial results, quarterly forecasting, annual budgets)
•Be experienced with financial systems and applications (e.g.. Hyperion, Oracle, Power BI); have excellent knowledge of Excel; have good verbal and writing skills; have experience in development and automation of management reporting.
