Title and Summary

Manager, Business Administration, Debit, Prepaid, and Sustainability Products Position Summary

The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, ensuring operational excellence, alignment on priorities, and seamless execution across multiple business units. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong consulting experience, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.



Key Responsibilities

1. Team Management & Scheduling

Oversee and coordinate three diverse teams (Sustainability & Financial Inclusion, Debit, Prepaid).

Manage calendars, organize town halls, and prepare materials for leadership meetings.

Ensure smooth communication and alignment across teams.

2. Strategic Priorities & Governance

Implement and manage a Weekly Big Bets Review process to track progress on strategic initiatives.

Collect, review, and present updates from team leaders to senior stakeholders.

3. Storyboarding & Presentation Development

Act as the go-to expert for creating high-quality storyboards and presentations that go beyond standard PowerPoint decks.

Drive clarity, creativity, and impactful storytelling for executive-level communications.

4. Leadership Support & Special Projects

Partner with leadership on ad-hoc strategic projects, ensuring timely execution and stakeholder engagement.

Facilitate decision-making by providing structured analysis and recommendations.



Qualifications & Experience

Consulting Background: Prior experience at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., BCG, McKinsey, Deloitte) is essential.

Strong skills in structuring, synthesizing, and presenting complex information.

Ability to work independently and adapt to Mastercard's available resources without reliance on advanced AI tools.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.



Hiring Process

Candidates will be screened by senior leadership.

Finalists will complete a storyboard exercise and present to a panel of team leaders.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Purchase, New York: $130,000 - $214,000 USD
