Title and Summary

Manager, Finance Business Partner Overview
• We are a dynamic team that supports MasterCard's growth in Hongkong and Macao markets while ensuring financial principal adherence.
• The Finance business partner role covers many key areas in finance function such as FP&A, strategic planning, Business Development Finance and Controllership / Tax accounting.
• We have an exciting job opportunity available in Finance Business Partner role (FBP).
• The FBP who is highly motivated, and career minded. We are looking for someone who possess inquisitive mind and is highly analytical and independent. In addition to individual analytical ability, the candidate should also possess strong influencing skills that result in effective and timely task output through team efforts.
• The FBP will report to Greater China Divisional Finance Officer and work as an individual contributor.
• The FBP will provide extensive exposure to management as well as cross functional teams, therefore excellent communication and interpersonal skills are must haves.
• Financial services industry and multinational company experience are also recommended.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Managing and owing the Hongkong and Macao FP&A responsibilities that spans across executive management reporting, financial budgets & forecasts, profitability assessment, customer and product level performance scorecards, and P&L reforecasting
• Partner with the business data analytics team to analyze operational and financial data to identify trends and drivers; draw/summarize conclusions and implications of analysis prepared
• Strong partnerships and communication with market leaders/divisional leaders/functional heads, providing insightful strategic input while building effective coordination of financial processes
• Responsible for month-end closing, forecasting, annual budgeting, annual marketing sizing, annual coordination, and execution of sales incentive plan from finance perspectives
• Develop crisp and concise bi-weekly/monthly reports for internal management and presentation materials for Senior Management
• Perform complex financial modeling and analysis, including pro-forma, portfolio, scenario, sensitivity, NPV, IRR, and cash-flow analysis when needed
• Coordinate with business units to aggregate and analyze data to complete ad-hoc inquiries on timely basis
• Collect and provide clear and accurate information as requested by or for auditors and regulators
• Drive process improvement practices and create supporting documentation materials
All about You
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA/CPA preferred
• Expert level in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese
• Expert experience in corporate FP&A, Strategic Planning, or Accounting, preferably in the financial services and banking industry; Prefer candidates with experiences in multinational companies
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive results independently from design to implement to process standardization; Strong individual contributor who thrives in a collaborative team environment, but comfortable with making independent thought-out decisions
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and proficient with MS Access
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Strong sense of ownership and be able to deliver results within tight deadlines
• Demonstrated project management background; or trained in process improvement techniques
