The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function manages all aspects of management reporting encompassing budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning. This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirements.
Business Finance Center provides FP&A expertise to the organization by compiling and analysing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance.

Revenue Assurance (RA) is one of the key functions within the FP&A function. Primary focus of RA is to strengthen revenue controls by identify revenue opportunities and minimizing the risk of revenue leakage within the Quarterly Mastercard Reported (QMR) reporting process, regional billing process and other revenue streams.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead, plan and perform annual on-sight / virtual customer QMR reviews for regions as assigned, through pre and post audit standard processes.
• Lead and perform financial analysis, financial impact estimations and evaluations of revenue on customers and country levels as part of pre-audit process.
• Obtain clear understanding of selected customers, customer's incentive & deal agreements, market regulations and structures, and key players (such as processors, issuers, and acquirers) as part of pre-audit process. Requires interviews and discussions with internal and external sources to gather knowledge.
• Lead and complete pre and post audit documentation and issue QMR observation letter to customer.
• Lead regular follow up meetings with customer and Global Statistics team to address and resolve findings. Perform revenue estimates and ensure billing on prior quarters, if required.
• Lead and perform customer QMR trainings on Mastercard QMR concepts, in person and through Mastercard Academy.
• Own the Revenue Assurance initiatives in the region, taking a lead and providing analysis and advice to regional product/finance teams on suggested revenue leads.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Product, GBSC, etc., to develop analytical toolkit that drives efficiency on issue detection for key initiatives and focuses across corporate and regions
• Lead and conduct rigorous data analysis from Mastercard databases to identify, research, and resolve revenue leakage; synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations
• Contribute to the Global Revenue Assurance strategies, initiatives, and efforts as the regional Subject Matter Expert representative.
• Monitor and track regional revenue opportunities to providing quarterly status and engage the support from the regional CFO, FP&A and Controllership, as well as updates to the Executive Management on material findings

All about you:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related discipline, MBA / CA Preferred (preferably in Finance/Strategy/General Management), CPA/CFA a plus
• Proven track record of accomplishments with experience in Revenue Assurance
• Knowledge of car payments industry is a plus
• Highly proficient in database management & Microsoft Office applications with strong data management and analytics experience
• Excellent ability to break down and communicate complex issues
• Good systematic approach and pro-active problem solver
• High level of ownership, business acumen, and entrepreneurship
• Desire to collaborate with the team and build working relationships across teams and all levels of management
• Ability to follow up and follow through on time sensitive issues
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently with cross functional partners
• Interest in identifying areas of improvement/ enhancements; questions status-quo
• Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
