Manager, Open Banking Product Management – Transaction Monitoring

What do we do?
The Open Banking Product organization leads innovation by designing and delivering seamless solutions that empower businesses and individuals to unlock the full potential of open banking. Our team focuses on customer-centric design, robust compliance, and world-class user experience while adhering to regulatory standards

This role will sit within the Open Banking Product team that delivers compliance, onboarding, transaction monitoring and back-office tools.

Team responsibilities include:
- Deliver world-class onboarding of customers to our platform through simple flows and delightful designs
- Build and maintain tooling that enable, automate and simplify management of product both internally and externally for our customers
- Become a domain expert on the use cases powered by our Open Banking platform.
- Building solid solutions for banking, accounting, ecommerce, loyalty solutions and similar domains
- Champion and evolve the way we design our products through thorough guidelines, vigorous testing and collaboration
- Build value-added services such as extended data and account access (investment accounts, loans, mortgages etc), data insights, categorisation, credit scoring, cash-flow analytics and much more.

Your role

As a Product Manager, you are the captain of one or more delivery squads, motivating and guiding the team members. You are a strong leader, both for the team and the products you own.

Responsibilities:
- Creating the Transaction monitoring product vision and strategy, managing product delivery, and articulating it within and outside of your squad
- Help define future solutions for fraud management in the Open Banking space
- Being in control of your product and the product strategy by maintaining a deep, detailed and meaningful backlog (at least 2 cycles ahead)
- Evaluating relevant customer cases and opportunities, through detailed market and business analysis.
- Developing clear understanding of transaction monitoring requirements across different scenarios and translating requirements into rules/ data models
- Providing your team and stakeholders, like the Compliance, legal and engineering team with clear direction, plans and structure.
- Acting as the primary conduit and sparring partner in and out of your squad
- Proactively informing Sales, Marketing and Customer Service about our products and features.
- Being a fierce, clear and open communicator.
- Ensuring stakeholder alignment across the business

About you:
- Demonstrated success in end-to-end product management, consistently delivering high-quality applications and software in a similar role
- Experience with leading and building transaction monitoring products. Alternatively, experience building fraud management or compliance tools would also be considered.
- Experience working in financial services.
- Knowledge of agile product management and project management processes
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to render complexity into simple overviews and models to act upon.
- You hold a degree in Computer science, IT Development, Business management or a similar degree.
- Internal evangelist of great user and customer experiences.
- A great technical aptitude and understanding.
- You have a nose for the right product and feature set and are able to inspire others through your structured and plan-driven approach. You focus on getting incremental product releases fast to the market.
- Strong and ambitious leadership.

Additional skills (good to have, but not required):
- Knowledgeable about PSD2, financial legislation and compliance related to open banking
- Experience in payment domains
- Knowledge of merchant fraud tools
- SaaS experience, or experience in another Tech company
- Programming or prototyping experience
