Title and Summary

Manager, Settlement Operations Overview:
The Manager, Settlement Operations will be responsible for managing daily settlement processing and reconciliation related to the Mexico Clearinghouse process. With oversight to processes driven from Arcus business unit and assist customer support with settlement issues within the market.

The position requires a highly motivated, analytical, detail-oriented individual who can support multiple priorities and works well with cross-functional teams.

Role
Identify reconciliation issues related to Mexico Clearinghouse submissions and consult with Technology teams to mitigate impact
• Ensure regulatory obligations are met related to funding local Clearinghouses daily and consult on new regulations and requirements
• Provide direct support to team as needed to assist with daily operations, including providing backup coverage of key functions
• Assist with Settlement Operations to troubleshoot, communicate and resolve settlement issues in a timely manner
• Liaise with customer facing teams to action complex settlement issues
• Working with external customers and internal business partners to advise on the settlement set ups

All About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of training and experience
• MBA a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of the card payments industry, banking back office payment operations, and SPEI local payments gained through 6 to 8 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, treasury operations, and the payment operations industry
• Proven ability to analyze problems and offer solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional partners
• Must be self-motivated and a good team player
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
