In partnership with regional Merchant and Acceptance teams and cross-functional partners around the globe, Global Acceptance Solutions works to expand merchant acceptance and help merchants and acquirers grow their businesses through Acceptance solutions and programs. Acceptance is a foundational pillar of Mastercard's success, complementing our technology, franchise, brand and customer relationships to support and grow Mastercard's network.

The Channel Enablement and Digital Commercialization team is looking for a Global Product Director to lead the product commercialization of Mastercard Checkout Services with issuer and other digital partners. The ideal candidate will be both commercially minded and a product leader. You will need to leverage your product leadership skills to scale our online checkout solutions globally, be execution focused to drive product growth and comfortable acting as the voice of the customer. You will need to ensure customer feedback is validated and turned into something actionable, with a view of enabling global scale.
This candidate will become a global expert in our online checkout products. They will use this knowledge to support key internal stakeholders across Mastercard, create and deliver supporting documentation, and where necessary, engage our customers. The candidate should be comfortable supporting our customers through the sales lifecycle and implementation, and will ensure the foundations of a high performing partnership and implementation are in place.

Role:
• Become a global expert on Mastercard Click to Pay and Mastercard Payment Passkeys, and to ensure regional and market teams have sufficient knowledge and support to enable scale with issuer and other digital partners, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of Mastercard Checkout Services
• Use expertise, market and competitive insights and customer feedback to inform the product development roadmap and evolve our product strategy with clear prioritisation
• Become a subject matter expert and product champion presenting compelling product propositions to customers and internal partners, at demonstrations and industry events

• Where required, support frontline sales and CSC teams in preparing and carrying out customer discussions, and provide advice / guidance on best practices. Works directly with Customers when required, through customer facing teams or regional teams.
• Define and monitor KPI performance data to inform stakeholders, identify risks / issues & drive change
• Train regional and market teams (regional product managers, CSC leads, account managers, business development managers, relationship managers)
• Collect feedback and represent the voice of the customer internally (either through direct customer engagements or through our trusted regional/ market teams) to inform the roadmap and evolve the product strategy
• Own the Go-to-Market strategy for issuers, to drive Mastercard's Reimagining Online Checkout vision
• Proactively identify obstacles hindering the achievement of product performance KPIs (either at individual issuer, market or regional levels) and own actionable solutions to overcome them
• Leverage working knowledge of payments ecosystem, Mastercard business, products and customer requirements in making fact-based business and inform product decisions
• Inform and create sales collateral that is impactful, effective and data driven

All about you:
• Experienced product leader/ manager comfortable to get deep into the product and understand the broader strategy
• Deep understanding and experience of product development, product management, consumer experience and problem solving
• Experience creating impactful product documentation that communicates complicated messages and value proposition
• Experience and knowledge of working with digital payment solutions
• Ideally have knowledge and experience with payment systems within banks and fintechs
• Able to communicate at all levels internally and externally
• Adept at working within matrix and cross functional organizations and ability to influence and challenge stakeholders across multiple geographies
• Demonstrate strong product commercialization experience showcasing excellent business acumen
• Possess strong interpersonal abilities and adeptness in building and nurturing relationships
• Have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to audiences of varying technical ability
• Possess the ability to leverage data not only for generating reports and analysis but also for crafting compelling narratives that convey insights effectively
