Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Analytics & Metrics Mastercard's Customer Connectivity organization enables our B2B customers to establish, manage and grow their business with Mastercard. In the Customer Connectivity team, data drives our decision-making.
The Senior Metrics and Analytics Lead is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for defining, developing, and driving the analytics framework that powers data-informed decision-making across the organization. This role partners with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators , build scalable reporting systems, and generate actionable insights that influence business priorities, customer experience, and product development.

The Role and Responsibilities:
• Define, track, and optimize KPIs across product and engineering functions to drive performance and strategic alignment.
• Build, maintain, and scale dashboards and reporting frameworks to support decision-making across teams.
• Analyze complex datasets from diverse sources—including product usage logs, system alerts, and operational data—to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Leverage data to monitor system behavior, identify anomalies, and generate real-time operational insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and designers to define metrics that reflect customer experience and product health.
• Lead the design of measurement strategies for new product features and initiatives, including setting baselines and success criteria.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations and influence stakeholders through storytelling and data visualizations Proactively collaborating with teams to take action on those insight,
• Automate repetitive data workflows and reporting pipelines to improve scalability and reduce manual errors.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation, documentation, and quality assurance practices.

About you:
• Experience in data analytics, data science, or metrics-focused roles, preferably within the tech or a product or customer-focused environment .
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science
• Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions, from data ingestion to visualization and insight delivery.
• Expert-level proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools such as Domo and Alteryx, including automation, ETL workflows, and dashboard development.
• Solid experience with Splunk for log and event data analysis
• Strong background in SQL, data modeling, and data governance best practices.
• Interest and aptitude in data, metrics, analysis and trends and applied knowledge of measurement, statistics and program evaluation.
• Demonstrated success in developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), leading/lagging metrics, and communicating insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with product, ux research, engineering, and operations teams to inform strategy and optimize performance.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. O'Fallon, Missouri: $94,000 - $146,000 USD Purchase, New York: $108,000 - $168,000 USD
