Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Business Development Overview

Our Mastercard Business Development team is looking for a talented individual to join us as a Senior Analyst in spearheading business wins. You will be empowered to manage every aspect of the Mastercard relationship, serving as the key account manager for customers including Retail and Commerce Merchants, Non-Financial Institutions, and Fintech players in Singapore.

You will be leading clients discussions and strategizing sales and marketing activities, conduct performance reviews, evaluate returns on investments, and strengthen partnerships and relationships with both internal and external stakeholders within Singapore and across multiple markets. It is essential for the candidate to be a team player, outspoken, with high emotional intelligence and situational awareness.

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day customer relationship including building and enhancing relationships with key stakeholders

• Manage contractual commitments and obligations resulting from long-term partnership commitments.

• Develop strong working relationships with key influencers at customer organizations and Mastercard support teams

• Help drive Mastercard's go-to-market strategy with your partners across all Mastercard products and services.

• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to enhance both customer and Mastercard profitability.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify new segments and product opportunities, developing tailored propositions to maximize market penetration.

• Coordinate and manage cross-functional team participation in support of customer objectives

• Support market strategy and plans to increase share, volume and customer loyalty with research and opportunity assessments and/or viability study of creative programs and new concepts

• Identify new and/or unique revenue opportunities and develop business case for internal approval


All About You

· The ideal candidate should be solutions-oriented and results-driven individual who is a commercially pragmatic business developer and well equipped with thought leadership skills, and a history of successful customer-focused strategic sales experience (at least 4 years with proven track record).

· Driven to succeed, organized and pro-active personality with the ability to manage, plan and execute projects, multi-task, analyze and resolve complex problems

· Knowledge of principles of effective account management, Customer Relationship Management and achieving within a team environment is required

· An understanding of the Mastercard organization and its payment products and services with demonstrated business acumen within the payments business; Familiarity with Mastercard customers, policies and processes would be highly preferred

· Excellent ability in building and maintaining interpersonal relationships while collaborating with Customers and cross-functional teams to create impactful business programs that maximizes segment penetration and drive customer revenues.

· Effective communication skills in conducting presentations and leading negotiations and influencing stakeholders internally and externally

· A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred
