Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Corporate Treasury Overview:

The Corporate Treasury team performs all global treasury activities for Mastercard, including capital planning analysis, rating agency relationships, foreign exchange risk management, foreign exchange spot and interbank settlement trading, cash management/positioning, pensions asset-liability management, capital markets transactions (debt issuances, equity share buy-back), credit facility management and intercompany funding.
Additionally, the team is responsible for the treasury controllership function ensuring accurate public disclosures of all global treasury activities (e.g., preparing related 10Q/K footnotes). The team centrally supports all business units, providing treasury services as needed. It also plays a critical part in broader corporate finance and business initiatives by providing cross-functional support and execution for special projects such as mergers and acquisitions due diligence and integration, global tax planning initiatives, counterparty credit risk mitigation, etc.

The Role:

We are currently hiring for a Senior Analyst to drive and support the FX trading operations, end to end market risk management, origination forecasting, liquidity management, and front office treasury solutions for Mastercard's Cross Border Services (XBS) business.

The responsibilities for this role include:
• Develop new foreign exchange capabilities to support business initiatives involving cross-border payments
• Best in class execution of foreign exchange risk management program and strategies
• Daily forecasting and positioning of local currency liquidity to ensure smooth settlement of FX trades and continuity of customer payouts.
• Contribute to all aspects of the trading desk activities including position reconciliation, risk management tasks and post trade analysis
• Analyzing historical trends and overarching FX trading strategies across all markets through creation of models that forecast payout patterns and daily originations.
• Weekly issuance of KPI and risk metric dashboards to senior management
• Define FX desk workflows and ensuring compliance with XBS Treasury policies and procedures.
• Providing inputs to the Business Development and Product teams on pricing across different send/receive currency combinations.
• Ad Hoc requests including but not limited to rate validations, new customer onboarding, rate competitiveness testing.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be proficient in or possess the following:
• Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced with MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Able to prioritize work; and manage projects in addition to day-to-day responsibilities
• Able to foster a positive team environment and collaborate to produce outstanding results
• Knowledge of best practices across FX risk management, pre/post trade processes, micro/macroeconomic insight, liquidity management and Treasury operations
• Prior experience with FX market/Treasury is a plus
