Title and Summary
Senior Analyst, Sourcing & Supplier Management Overview:Mastercard's Global Supply Chain Sourcing Center of Excellence team is the operational arm of all Mastercard's purchasing operations. Acting as centers of knowledge, gatekeepers of risk, and enforcers of all related policies to third party engagement, the team operates as a shared service assisting all arms of the Mastercard business lines in negotiating and contracting with third party suppliers.
The role of L7 – Senior Analyst, Sourcing & Supplier Management based in O'Fallon, MO main campus joins a diverse team supporting all purchasing categories as well as ad hoc reporting and business owner customer support. We are looking for an experienced sourcing professional capable of navigating an agile and complex indirect procurement environment.
Role:
• Supports the business with sourcing and supply base needs in line regional and category management strategy and company objectives.
• Serves as a resource for internal business units on spend data, industry trends, and supply base options.
• Supports the strategic sourcing process with members of the Global Supply Chain by analyzing spend, defining requirements, authoring/managing RFx's, and authoring/negotiating contracts.
• Addresses tactical supply base gaps and handles in an efficient and agile manner.
• Executes standard process reporting and analysis as requested.
• Coordinates components of larger projects and process improvement efforts.
• Navigate the organization to find internal resources and tools.
• Work effectively in a dynamic, time-sensitive, high-volume environment.

• Solid understanding of basic supply chain principles, including spend management, negotiation techniques, and risk mitigation.

• Commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry best practices and trends.
• Possesses strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with Coupa and Oracle is preferred.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
