Overview
The Treasury Data & Analytics function powers global Treasury data capabilities across Settlement Operations and Corporate Treasury, working with internal stakeholders worldwide to support an evolving global reporting landscape. Sitting at the intersection of data, technology, and Treasury operations, the team delivers scalable reporting and advanced analytics that drive operational excellence, effective risk management, and informed strategic decision‑making.
The Senior Analyst, Treasury Data & Analytics will lead data analysis and reporting initiatives spanning regions, functions, and business lines. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of analytics‑driven Treasury, influence how data is used across the organization, and drive meaningful process improvements through innovative, scalable, and self‑service data solutions.
In this role, the Senior Analyst will operate within a collaborative team environment globally and gain broad exposure to Treasury processes, systems, and data flows. The role plays a key part in measuring and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support Treasury's long-term objectives.

Role and Responsibilities
The role requires a strong understanding of Mastercard's business model, Treasury processes, systems, and tools, as well as the effective use of multiple data sources relevant to Treasury activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Analyze settlement and treasury data to identify trends, support financial operations, and provide actionable insights to the Treasury team and senior management.
• Support the design and implementation of Power BI reports and dashboards to support the daily operations and business decision-making.
• Assist in the development of automation solutions to streamline repetitive BAU tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and maintain and further develop data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and prepare data for analysis and reporting.
• Assist in design and maintenance of semantic data models to ensure consistent, reliable, and reusable data structures.
• Contribute to the development of data solutions that support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver recurring BAU analytics, including scheduled reports, dashboard refreshes, and data validations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Support the migration of legacy reports, scripts, and data processes into modern, standardized, and scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Deliver ad hoc and custom analysis to support Treasury initiatives and management requests.

All About You
• STEM graduate with 3+ years of hands‑on experience in data analytics, ideally in a complex, data‑driven environment.
• Strong data governance mindset, with a focus on data quality, consistency, controls, and reliability.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrating accuracy, accountability, ownership, and a strong sense of urgency.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle and T‑SQL) for data transformation, querying, and analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, including building reports, dashboards, and semantic models using DAX, M and Power Query.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, Dataflows) is a strong advantage.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is highly desirable.
• Exposure to additional programming languages such as Python is a plus.
• Strong communication skills across visual, written, and verbal formats, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, curiosity, and willingness to learn and adapt in an evolving environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• A portfolio of previous work (dashboards, reports, analytics projects) is welcomed and is a plus.
• Bring a positive attitude and a good sense of humor to the team.
