Title and Summary
Senior Specialist, Marketing Financial Planning The Marketing Financial Planner is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, execution, and reporting of marketing A&M budget. This role ensures accurate purchase order management, timely invoice processing, reliable forecasting, and strict adherence to monthly financial targets. Acting as a key finance partner to marketing teams, the position requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders across markets and regional teams, providing clear financial insights and supporting informed decision making.Key Responsibilities
• Own the marketing budget planning process, including monthly and quarterly forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met.
• Monitor actual spend versus forecast, proactively identifying risks and recommending corrective actions to stay on track with approved targets.
• Lead the end-to-end process for opening and managing purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and timelines.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely submission, review, and processing of invoices to meet forecast.
• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports requested by regional and global marketing teams.
• Develop clear, accurate dashboards and trackers to provide visibility into budget status, forecast accuracy, and key financial metrics.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner for marketing leaders, budget owners, vendors and regional finance counterparts across different geographies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting to increase efficiency and accuracy across markets.
All about you
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineer, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or marketing finance roles.
• Analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working with cross functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to operate in a fast paced environment.
• Financial acumen and analytical thinking
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (budget tracking, forecasting models, variance analysis, and reporting).
• Ability to build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and standardized financial reports for regional and global stakeholders.
