Title and Summary
Software Engineer II Job Summary:We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Software Engineer II in Test to join our QA Engineering team focused on contact center technology solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks, tools, and test suites to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our contact center applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software that powers seamless customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable test automation code using tools like Cyara, Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features, requirements, and technical design documents.
• Identify and report bugs with detailed analysis and reproducible steps.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that integrate automated testing.
• Improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability of automated test suites.
• Analyze test results, debug failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proficient programming skills in Java, Java scripts.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Cyara, Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, acceptance).
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman or REST-assured for API testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with contact center technologies.
