Title and Summary

Vice President, Product Management Overview
The Real‑Time Payments (RTP) team is seeking a Manager, Product Management to support the delivery and evolution of A2A Services. This role focuses on execution excellence, product enhancement delivery, and cross‑functional collaboration, working closely with matrixed partners across Franchise, Product, Technology, CX&D, and regional market teams.

Role
In this strategic position, you will:
• Contribute to the definition and delivery of the A2A Services roadmap by developing new services aligned to strategic focus areas and validated market demand.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery of assigned product capabilities using the Studio framework, ensuring high‑quality execution.
• Pro-actively partner with cross‑functional teams (Product, Technology, CX&D, Operations) across Mastercard to define clear requirements and readiness plans.
• Apply a data‑driven, test‑and‑learn approach to shape and develop services in response to market demand, validating assumptions and value across the product development lifecycle..
• Incorporate a strong understanding of the broader A2A payments ecosystem into ongoing product management, including regulatory, legal, technology, and competitive considerations.
• Proactively manage delivery risks and dependencies within the Software Development Lifecycle, escalating with solutions.
• Maintain strong product documentation to support operational readiness and institutional knowledge.

• Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to partner effectively across cross‑functional teams and operate comfortably in matrixed organizations with shared ownership and accountability.
• Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and viewpoints in plain English, avoiding unnecessary complexity and jargon.
• Excellent presentation skills, including strong PowerPoint capability, with a proven ability to build compelling, well‑structured presentations that tell a clear story and articulate the intended objectives and outcomes.
• An analytical mindset and solid Excel skills, with the ability to assess data, translate insights into clear messages, and support the development of business cases and related analyses.
• A curious and growth‑oriented mindset, demonstrating a willingness to challenge the status quo, learn new things, and continuously develop skills in line with the Mastercard Way.
• Strong execution capabilities, with experience operating in agile product environments and the ability to translate strategy into prioritized backlogs, iterative delivery, and tangible outcomes, including regular product updates to leadership.
• Comfort and interest in technology, with the ability to work effectively with technology teams—approaching topics from a business perspective while understanding technical concepts well enough to engage constructively with engineering and delivery partners.
