About the role:
Type: Full Time Salaried
Compensation: $134,800 - $202,200
Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States
Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:
We are seeking an experienced Sr Cloud Architect to play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our overall cloud platform strategy, focusing on our existing Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of cloud architecture, a strong track record in containerization planning, and the ability to act as the primary liaison with our third-party development team. This position involves close collaboration with development engineers and product teams to ensure the optimization of our cloud platform in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Azure cloud solutions aligned with company objectives.
- Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards and best practices.
- Integrate cloud solutions seamlessly with existing IT and development systems.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure, adhering to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance improvements.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship and guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and adapt to advancements in cloud technologies and industry trends.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud-related issues
Qualifications
Must Haves:
Competencies & Skills:
- Understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure SQL, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Security Center.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as RedHat OpenShift, ArgoCD, and Harbor Registry
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
