Type: Full Time Salaried

Compensation: $245,000 (Target Salary)

Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States

Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:

 

The Head of Clinician Experience at Matrix Medical Network will champion the needs of our dispersed, mobile clinician workforce by leading the development and optimization of workflows, tools, and processes tailored to their unique environment. This role requires deep expertise in both at-home healthcare delivery and the risk adjustment industry. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, driving measurable improvements in clinician satisfaction, productivity, and documentation quality.


As a senior leader in the Product organization, you will collaborate across teams to ensure our solutions align with clinical, operational, and business goals. This is a remote position with as-needed travel to engage directly with clinicians and stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Clinician Advocacy:
Act as the primary advocate for the remote clinician workforce, ensuring their needs and perspectives shape product and operational strategies.
Build a deep understanding of at-home healthcare workflows and challenges through direct clinician engagement and field visits.

 

Product Development & Delivery:
Lead enhancements to clinician-facing tools and workflows, with an emphasis on iterative development and quality assurance.
Manage the full product lifecycle, from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and clinician needs.
Collaborate with Agile development teams to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions.

 

Team Leadership:
Manage and grow a team of product professionals, providing mentorship and clear direction.
Foster a high-performing culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Clinical teams to develop and implement clinician-focused solutions.
Align with Clinical and Customer Service teams to address workflow challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.

 

Data-Driven Decision Making:
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), including clinician satisfaction scores, productivity metrics, and documentation quality.
Use data insights to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic initiatives.

 

Workflow Optimization:
Analyze clinician workflows to identify inefficiencies and pain points.
Design and implement solutions that enhance productivity and align with organizational priorities.


Qualifications

Must Haves:

 

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

10+ years of product management experience, including 5+ years in healthcare product management with a focus on at-home healthcare delivery.
In-depth knowledge of the risk adjustment industry and its unique challenges.
Demonstrated success in managing technology-driven products and collaborating with Agile teams.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required.

Skills & Expertise:
Strong understanding of remote workforces, especially clinicians using mobile technologies (e.g., Android tablets).
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
High emotional intelligence and integrity.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
Product management certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Institute certification) are a plus.

 

Metrics for Success:
Improved clinician satisfaction scores.
Enhanced productivity and documentation quality.
Measurable reductions in workflow inefficiencies.
