Note: This position will be hybrid (in-office 3 days per week & work from home 2 days per week).  The Graphic Designer position allows you the flexibility to work at home as long as you reside within a 50-mile radius of the Brooklyn, OH Medical Mutual office.

Responsibilities

Graphic Designer I

The Graphic Designer I, supports the design team in the creation of visually appealing and effective print and digital designs that meet the needs of our clients. Works closely with senior designers to edit designs and designs small elements of larger projects. Produce high-quality materials while adhering to brand standards and deadlines.

·    Edits and designs various marketing materials under the direction of senior graphic designers.

·    Contributes to layout design, typography, and photography decisions.

·    Collaborates with the design team to concept projects and campaigns that support the companies brand voice.

·    Manages project workload in collaboration with senior designers.

·    Manages multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

·    Works closely with various internal departments to meet expectations.

·    Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

Graphic Designer II

The Graphic Designer II designs print and digital media. Creates visually appealing and effective designs that are within company brand standards and meet the needs of our clients, under the guidance of the senior graphic designers. Produces high-quality material while adhering to deadline and budget parameters.

·    Designs and executes various marketing materials, such as logos, brochures, flyers, websites, video concepting and email graphics, from layout to final production with guidance from senior graphic designers.

·    Works closely with various internal departments and external vendors to get direction that informs design.

·    Works in a fast-paced environment.

·    Stay current with the latest creative design trends and best practices.

·    Manages project workload in collaboration with senior graphic designers.

·    Manages multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

·    Performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

Sr. Graphic Designer

The Sr Graphic Designer works on a wide range of projects and mediums to visualize and execute innovative concepts to meet business goals. Designs for print media, presentations, websites, emails, videos, social and digital media while adhering to deadline and budget requirements. Leads and manages a design project from start to finish under the guidance of Creative Services Director.  Provides guidance and direction to junior creative staff members.

·    Leads, designs, and executes various marketing and communications materials from layout to final production under the guidance of Art Direction Supervisor, Manager or Creative Services Director.

·    Guides and provides direction to junior-level graphic designers.

·    Meets with line of business personnel to review project scope and goals.

·    Presents design concepts to line of business contacts, interpret feedback, and revise as necessary.

·    Manages project workload in collaboration with Art Direction Supervisor/Manager or Creative Services Director

·    Manages multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.

·    Works closely with various internal departments and external vendors to meet expectations.

·    Stays current with the newest creative design trends and best practices.

·    Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications

Qualifications

Graphic Designer I

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree in visual communication design, graphic design, digital design or other related art field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

·  1 year of professional design experience preferred.

·  A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects required.

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

·   Basic understanding of print and web design principles.

·   Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and priorities.

·   Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·   Ability to take direction and work independently.

·   Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·   Software capabilities should include Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite.

 

 

Graphic Designer II

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree in visual communication design, graphic design, digital design or other related art field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

·   At least 3 years of professional design experience.

·   A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects required.

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

·   Ability to execute a creative vision.

·   Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and priorities, strong time management skills.

·   Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·   Ability to work independently and review work with art director.

·   Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·   Software capabilities should include Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite.

 

 

Sr. Graphic Designer

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree in visual communication design, graphic design, digital design or other related art field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

·  4 years of professional design experience.

·  A strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects required.

·  Video experience a plus.

 

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

·  Ability to execute a creative vision.

·  Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and priorities, strong time management skills.

·  Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·  Ability to work independently and review work with Art Directors.

·  Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

·  Software capabilities should include Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite.
