MedStar Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Critical Care Intensivist to join our growing Critical Care Medicine program serving MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
This unique nocturnist opportunity offers the ability to practice across two well-established hospitals located just minutes apart in Northeast Baltimore. Working within a collaborative team of intensivists, Advanced Practice Providers, residents, and specialists, you will provide care in closed Medical/Surgical ICUs while managing a diverse mix of medical and surgical critical care patients.

- 24-bed closed Medical/Surgical ICU with an average daily census of approximately 16 patients

- Opportunity to work alongside resident physicians and APP-supported teams
- Provide comprehensive critical care management for ICU patients within a closed ICU model
- Lead multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate care across consulting services
- Manage a broad spectrum of medical and surgical critical illness
- Collaborate with residents, Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and departmental initiatives
- Board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care
- Broad cognitive and procedural skills in the critical care setting
- Eligible for medical licensure in Maryland and authorized to work in the United States
