General Summary of Position
Serves as the accountable leader for medication preparation pharmacy automation and distribution systems as well as continual regulatory readiness programs in accordance with all federal and state laws relating to the storage compounding and distribution of medications and the provision of pharmacy services. Works collaboratively within the highly integrated cross-functional matrix driven pharmacy leadership team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited American Council of Pharmaceutical Education Pharmacy Program required
- Doctoral degree in Pharmacy preferred
- Candidates who are graduates of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program (PGY-1) and/or ASHP-accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program preferred
- 5-7 years required
- 10+ years preferred
- Candidate that can demonstrate progressively more responsible pharmacy experience including two years of experience in staff and operations management preferred
- PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in the District of Columbia or eligibility for reciprocity required

USD $161,158.00 - USD $348,296.00 /Yr.
