Nurses on Unit 2D provide care to acutely ill adult patients with a wide range of medical diagnoses. Unit 2D is a 27-bed unit that has expanded its scope of care to include ventilated patients at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. Our team is known for being clinically sharp, consistent, organized, and dependable. The unit is also recognized for its strong, cohesive team dynamics and the many opportunities it offers for nursing growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

Qualifications
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

USD $40.17 - USD $65.31 /Yr.
