About the Job

General Summary of Position
Senior Reporting Analyst supports analytics reporting and data handling by collaborating with the Manager. The Senior Reporting Analyst participates in committees focused on planning future reporting and analytic needs and aids in the development of business analytics and decision support tools.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Aids in maintaining key data elements reports and analytical models to derive business insights related to monthly close analysis capital allocation strategic planning initiatives and other environmental or industry factors.
  • Supports the reporting development process including prioritization selection of reporting tools ongoing delivery of new reports and maintenance/enhancement of existing reports. Ensures adherence to documented business rules SOP and data definitions for all developed reporting and analytic models.
  • Supports data audits to ensure source and report data quality. Drives scheduled report publication to ensure end-user availability. Maintains documentation to support data definitions sources and required audits.
  • Supports the Manager in resolving system-wide reporting issues in conjunction with technical teams ensuring optimal report delivery across user groups including the finance organization executive leadership and department leaders. Supports the development training and distribution of reports and analytical tools.
  • Analyzes trends and gathers insights from large disparate data warehouses. Identifies opportunities to improve the collection management and reporting of the organization's Finance data and supports initiatives to improve data quality and integrity to support decision-making.
  • Performs detailed quantitative analysis associated with capital and operational investments throughout the System.
  • Assists in developing standards of performance evaluating performance and conducting performance management planning. Maintains ongoing communication with subordinates to review programs provide feedback discuss new developments and exchange information.

Minimal Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor's degree Accounting Finance or Business Administration or related field required
  • Master's degree Accounting Finance or Business Administration or related field preferred

Experience

  • 3-4 years Experience in data analysis reporting or a related field. required
  • 3-4 years Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools. required
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Hyperion Workiva and Alteryx preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at different levels of the organization
  • Ability to plan prioritize and coordinate time to effectively deal with multiple projects
  • Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis techniques generally accepted accounting principles financial reporting and healthcare reimbursement.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet software word processing and other common office applications.

USD $71,843.00 - USD $135,907.00 /Yr.
