We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. We're helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute, with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient focused.
This role will be PRN. Primarily the duties of the role will be to support the vascular surgery outpatient clinic, document progress notes, provide patient education, conduct follow up cardiac evaluations, and respond to urgent clinical inquires and patient needs. The incumbent of this role will provide support to the inpatient service as a secondary responsibility.
The shifts will include days, and MUST be available to commit to at least one to two shift per week in an ongoing basis.
The ideal candidate will have a background of clinical experience in vascular surgery or surgical setting; but we are open to new graduates.
