General Summary of Position
Performs a variety of administratively related support functions for nurse retention & engagement and nursing quality improvement under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Practice Innovation, Director of Nursing Professional Development, and Nursing Retention, Engagement, and Recognition Specialist. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and MedStar Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.

Minimal Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree Bachelor of Art or a Bachelor of Science required and
- Master's degree Health Administration, Business or similar preferred
Experience
- 3-4 years Comparable administrative experience required and
- Previous statistical data analysis and work in a large complex nursing environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of statistical data, ability to work well with a variety of different personnel.
- Ability to type between 55-60 words per minute.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, file maintenance, and facility with Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.
- Other database management and spreadsheet application knowledge preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks to produce results by established deadlines.
This position has a hiring range of $65,062 - $117,291
