Description
We are actively recruiting for a Medical Editor to join our Cardiology Research team at MedStar Health Research Institute in Washington, DC. This position serves as Medical Editor through the coordination of the review and publication of articles for major medical journals. Responsible for all aspects of informational content and timely management of manuscript submissions, while managing all interactions between authors, editors, and the publisher.
Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree required
-Business Administration concentration preferred
-3-4 years of editorial experience, preferably in a medical environment required
-Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to exercise independent judgment
-Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, internal departments and external agencies
-Working knowledge of various computer software applications
